We just posted our new video showing our Julep Maven December 2015 box. Julep Maven is a monthly subscription box service. It's $24.99 per month if you pay month to month or $19.99 per month if you pay in 3 month chunks. They guarantee that you'll get at least $40 worth of Julep product. Usually that includes a mix of polishes, beauty items (makeup and tools), and skin care. Plus you get access to their secret shop and they're always sending out codes for free products in your next box. Overall Julep is well worth the subscription price.
We got a ton of great stuff this month! Our box came with:
Julep Glow Highlighting Powder - This item was HUGE! We weren't expecting it to be not only full size but almost twice the size of regular highlighters! Plus the color and texture were amazing!
Dial Up Your Glam - Supernova - This item we weren't as impressed with even though it was still pretty great. The color is beautiful but, it does wear like a baked shadow. The color in the pan is pretty bright but it takes a lot of work to get it to be that color on your eyelid. So the pigmentation could be better.
When Pencil Met Gel - Indigo - 4 Words....BEST....GEL...PENCIL....EVER!!!! Julep has the best formulation we've ever tried for Gel Eyeliner pencils. It goes on super smooth. The color is amazing. And, as an added bonus, it sharpens nicely without the end randomly falling off (if you've ever used a MAC pencil with a non-MAC sharpener...you know what I'm talking about).
We also got a few add on items. For add ons you get a huge discount when you add them onto your monthly box. We chose the following:
Twiggy - Gorgeous shimmery mauve. The formulation of Julep polish is awesome. The polish on your nail looks exactly like it does in the bottle.
Vanish Cuticle Softener & Remover - We're so excited to try this product. It is supposed to make your cuticles "vanish" after about 2 weeks of use. We'll keep you updated on what it looks like! Follow us on Instagram for all of the updates!
