Yes, we know...it's been awhile! Stupid spring break! Such is the life of a Mommy!

At any rate, we thought we would return with our favorite series Weekly Obsession! This week we're focusing back on our other great love subscription boxes (obviously wine is our first love)! We just discovered a really great box called My Best Box. We feel that this subscription really speaks to everyone as they promote a healthy lifestyle in several areas that are pretty overlooked (check out their dental care box!) and offer several boxes that are unisex which is pretty hard to find in most subscription boxes.

Here's our favorite:

It's called the My Best Skin Box. This is right up our alley as we're huge fans of taking care of our sking. Also, since we're ladies of a certain age, we're obsessed with satin pillowcases. Less lines equals more happiness! Plus all of these extra goodies for $35. It's a ready made gift that all of our girlfriends are getting for their birthdays!

You could also go the blind subscription box route. It's under $30 and you may get the box you have your eye on for a little less. Either way we feel that this box equals AWESOME! We're definitely going to be ordering one to test out. You can see the unboxing on our YouTube channel shortly!

New YouTube Series - Wine Tips

Since we're the self-professed Wine Dummies we decided to start a new series all about wine! There's way too much info out there for the basic ladies (like us) to get the necessary information to enjoy wine in our real world lives. Check out the first video in the series which is about how and why to use an aerator.

The aerator we used in this video is by Wine Eccentric. It's reasonably priced, compact, and durable. We highly recommend it!

Allure Posts 50 Best Drugstore Finds - We Cut it to our 5 Favorites!

I just got an email from Allure.com promoting the 50 (yes that's right 5-ohhh) best drug store products. Of course I was intrigued! I scanned through this incredibly long list and managed to find 5 highlight products that I'm going to try in order to see how good their picks actually are. I was really surprised to see some great skin care options. I'm sort of a snob when it comes to my skin care products but, in my journeys through subscription boxes, I've come across some really great drug store options (Derma-e Microdermabrasion Scrub!). The one on this list that hit all of the points for me was the Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence. One of my favorite lines of skin care is the Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Vitamin C items. This looks like it might be a cheaper alternative. Vitamin C does amazing things for your skin and you're also getting the added benefit of Hyaluronic Acid which moisturizes and promotes all kinds of anti-aging properties.

Weekly Obsession

This week's obsession is sort of a combination between a shopping post and an actual "Weekly Obsession" post. The reason is is because of our ever lasting love for one of our Southern Favorites Charming Charlie. If you've never heard of Charming Charlie get out from under you rock!
