Allure Posts 50 Best Drugstore Finds - We Cut it to our 5 Favorites!
I just got an email from Allure.com promoting the 50 (yes that's right 5-ohhh) best drug store products. Of course I was intrigued! I scanned through this incredibly long list and managed to find 5 highlight products that I'm going to try in order to see how good their picks actually are. If you'd like to see the whole list you can find it here.

!). The one on this list that hit all of the points for me was the Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence
. One of my favorite lines of skin care is the Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu
Vitamin C items. This looks like it might be a cheaper alternative. Vitamin C does amazing things for your skin and you're also getting the added benefit of Hyaluronic Acid which moisturizes and promotes all kinds of anti-aging properties.

Girls Trip! Vegas Essentials - The Budget Version
It's probably a little early for this topic but, lately I've run across lots of great drugstore items that I've made a mental note to add to my must have list for our next annual girls trip to Las Vegas (we go every year for 2 days and it's AWESOME!). What's better than gambling, eating, drinking, dancing, relaxing by the pool and going to the spa for 48 hours straight right? And no, the spa does not in any way reduce any of the damage done to my skin during our Vegasfest.
Anyhooo, with all of that going on it does actually take some work to not look like a 100 year old badly used handbag by the time we're ready to leave. If I came home looking the way I actually felt my husband would probably never let me go again! So, in order to reduce the haggard lines and sallow skin as much as possible I've put together my list of items that are amazing at disguising and, in some cases, actually reducing the damage.

Weekly Obsession!
It's a new year and I'm currently on a "let's save money" kick. And to that end I've been trying more drugstore brand beauty items. It's kind of hit and miss (I still love my high end beauty products!). However, I have found one hit that makes me super happy!
